   Fab service and great food - the Sunday roasts were enormous but so tasty we found our way through them! Service excellent, attentive and friendly, and a great vibe for us and the kids for a lovely afternoon.

   The service, food and ambience far surpassed our expectations - we'll definitely visit again. I would have given 5 stars across the board but the place was FREEZING, even the cutlery was freezing. I had to keep my winter coat on and nearly wore my gloves hahaha. The pub could do with a heavy curtain at the porch because the main door doesn't stay closed on its own or anything that might warm the place up.

   All of the staff were so helpful, jovial and down to earth. Made a really nice change to be somewhere that felt so genuine. The food was ample and the starters were big portions and weren’t in a trendy small cup for a change! Best carrots we’ve all had in memory was the general consensus! Will deffo go back.

   Food was served v quickly. Portion sizes good although kids food prices a bit punchy at £10 for ham, egg and chips.

   Fabulous Sunday Roast & service our only problem was our table was right next to the door to the outside garden which was constantly being open With people going out for a cigarette, in future I’ll Book by calling & not using this apt as it doesn’t give you the option of where you would like your table ( if possible not by the back door ).

   Lovely roast. 8 eating and we all got our food at the same time. Best Sunday roast I have had in a long time.

    Pleasant surprise, found the best Sunday roast dinner we have had in ages. Can't recommend enough. Lovely old pub, superb atmosphere and fantastic service.
