   Manager and waitress were treated us very well, steak was very tough, ribs were raw, crab cakes were very good. Would not be on our list to revisit. We ate there twice before and food was very good, maybe just a bad day for chef.

   Our experience at Cadillac Inn and Tavern was HORRIBLE!!! There were 6 of us who were looking forward to this dinner to celebrate our anniversaries, which I had noted on the reservation. There were two large groups that arrived soon after we did, who received their food well before we received ours. We ordered expensive entrees and waited to be served and drinks refilled (approximately 1 1/2 hours) only to get cold food that had been sitting under warming lights (we assumed). My husband ordered the parmasen encrusted whitefish and it was cold and sitting on a bed of cold and clumpy risotto. Another couple in our party ordered rice as their starch and it was cold and stuck together. The worst part was that they charged us for the fish and when we challenged them the hostess came over and said "our kitchen checked the temp of your food and it was fine!" Could not believe the lack of service and lack of quality in the food. We are 20%+ tippers yet couldn't bring ourselves to leave anything! We will NOT return to this establishment!

   It’s a beautiful historical building. The food was very good, the server seemed brand new but she did a good job. The outside fire pit seating area was very nice, and we had fun playing corn hole after dinner. It was our 45th wedding anniversary (June 30th) official date night. We also enjoyed Emilio’s the night before. We had a lovely time spending our anniversary weekend in Lexington, MI. The owner of Wimpy’s cracked us up, too, at breakfast. So much fun!

    I would definitely return to The Cadillac House Inn and Tavern again. The historic building was quaint and beautifully decorated. The food was very good. I would highly recommend the Eggplant/tomato stack. We went on a night where they were serving a large party (rehearsal dinner I think) so our service was off a little and probably would have had a little better experience. They obviously have a great reputation because the place was packed.
