Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     My wife and I had the crab meat appetizer and shrimp cocktail. Both were amazing. We split a roasted beet salad, which is one of my favorites. The beets and the goat cheese go so well together. We both had steaks for the main course. My wife had the sliced filet, and I had the new york strip with augratin potatoes. Steaks were seasoned and cooked perfectly.

    Excellent food and service. We had to wait a bit even having reservations and our table of 10 was served calamari and champaign on the house.

    We were a group of 10 and I know that for New Years Eve it was very busy. One of the things that we all liked is shortly after being seated a basket of breads are served. Our table had a variety of appitizers & meals including steaks, salmon, salads, crab cakes, clam chower & tuna. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the food was good. Desserts were the creme brulee and chocolate express cake both were delicious. They have a very nice selection of wine & cocktails that the waitress brings you a tablet to look at. I realized afterwards that there is a smaller drink menu on the back of the menu too. Overall we had a wonderful time & were were there for over 2 1/2 hours of talking & eating which everyone enjoyed & we did not feel rushed at all. The only downside was that after our entree's were served it took a while to recieve our side dishes. Our server was very nice and attended our table well.

    New Years Eve at Capital Grill . Arrived early for our 6:30 reservation and seated within 5 minutes. Promptly served water and served a delicious bread basket. It was very lively but our server was good with spacing of our appetizer and salad and entrees. The Sea Bass was delightful and steaks were cooked perfect. All in all , an excellent special occasion dinner .

    Filet was dry. Lobster left out of scallop order. Another table’s food was delivered to us. The special recognition for our anniversary was very nice.

    We were celebrating two birthdays, there were 6 of us with all different tastes. They informed us immediately that they were out of tuna as they could not procure the quality level they expected. I always get the wonderful tuna tartare, but not tonight. The lamb chops were outstanding, crab cake appetizer was plentiful and tasty, the steaks were done as requested. A frequent patron.

    while food was technically good, we were underwhelmed. Server was excellent. For the price the servings were on the smaller side. Friend ordered filet and it came with nothing. steak on a plate. I’ve had more creative dishes at Barn 8, Meesh Meesh, River House. I also had coffee with desert and they brought milk not cream. I had to send my coffee back and they did bring me another cup this time with cream. I don’t think we will be back.

    What a wonderful experience from the atmosphere, the food, the service and the company! Tristan was phenomenal! We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary and everything was PERFECT!
