   Nice atmosphere.It’s a new restaurant that needs to work out some kinks. Entrees coming out at different times among the party. Butterflied filet was burn on one side and rare on other.

   We had a great Valentine's Day experience yesterday at the Carlin! Our server Conner was friendly and personable and on top of anything we needed. Also loved seeing the GM jump in and run around to help out a very busy night. Way to go guys!

   First time there. Got sat at the chef counter which allowed us to see all the amazing food. One of the better meals I’ve had in Breck. Highly recommend!’

   We had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner at The Carlin. Our waitress was amazing and attentive and the hostess was so sweet. We were celebrating our best friend's anniversary and the staff had a signed card waiting on our table, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries. We definitely recommend The Carlin and plan on returning.

   Found The Carlin through Trip Advisor & was impressed with the menu, the pictures of the food, and the reviews. Booked a 6:15 reservation for two at the Counter. When we arrived, I loved the curb appeal - string lights around the front and a beautiful walk up to the front doors. We were a few minutes late, but the hostess was accommodating and took us to our seats. The Counter is in front of about 4 chefs who were working hard when we sat down. Our waitress, Birdie, was super cool, knew the most popular dishes on the menu and shared her personal favorites, which helped us to decide on appetizers, main course and dessert. We had the pickled mussels (weird sounding, but oddly good), the butter lettuce salad that had a citrus honey vinaigrette that was OUTSTANDING, the braised short rib, and one of the fresh catches of the day. My husband loved his old fashioned and his red wine (I can’t really drink at altitude, unfortunately) and since we couldn’t decide on a dessert to share, we got two - the bread pudding and the key lime pie. The flavors in all of these dishes were great and thoughtful. Totally enjoyed the experience and would definitely return!
