   Not a great experience. We were not super hungry so shared a few apps and the short ribs. When the bill came, the short ribs were $50 as opposed to the $43 as listed on the menu. When we inquired why, the server said “it’s a split plate charge and you get a little more when we split it.” Well, he did not ask if we wanted him to plate it separately and there was no indication of this extra charge on the menu, he just took it upon himself to have the kitchen do that and charge extra. We eat out several times a week and have never had this happen. We felt this was quite sneaky as an extra charge like this should be disclosed. He was totally unapologetic and quickly ignored us after he ran our credit card. Not sure if we’d come back here.

   Scooter and his team provided a wonderful first experience at the Carlin. Highly recommend you try it in Breckenridge. We will be back.

   good place, have allot of gluten free options, go before 5:00pm (Happy hour ends at 5:00) and save allot of money for same portions

   Dined with family of 4, kids 10 & 12. Service was outstanding - the entire staff was friendly, attentive and genuine. The food was great, would highly recommend the Short Rib and the kids Mac and Cheese was 11/10. The Carlin is a great choice for a nice family dinner while visiting Breckenridge.

   Had a great meal last night at the Carlin. We have been there a number of times and have enjoyed each visit. We ordered the Brussels sprouts and the jalapeño hush puppies as starters as those are two of our favorites. My companions enjoyed their entrees a great deal. We will definitely return. We also visited the underground bar for a cocktail pre-dinner and would highly recommend it as well.

    Absolutely loved this spot! The happy hour menu was fantastic—great variety and great value. The cocktails were a real standout: unique, expertly crafted, and packed with flavor. The catch of the day we tried was delicious, with thoughtful presentation and bold tastes. Service was quick, friendly, and super attentive. Can’t wait to come back!
