   I really miss the bucatini. But I’ve been to the Charles for every big milestone in my dallas life, I would never go anywhere else. Period. Ever.

   My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine’s day! This place is a 10/10 the customer service was excellent. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming upon arrival, we had drinks at the bar while we waited for our table ( 10-15 min due to holiday, which we didn’t mind) . The ambiance was amazing, the food was even better!! Travis was our server and he was great and very helpful about the menu. We went with the crowd favorite “Spicy Creste Di Gallo”. Its was sooo good, not too spicy, we demolished our plates. This is what I look for when I pick a restaurant and it was a perfect choice, we will be back!!

   Great experience. My fiance and I attended for her birthday and we were greeted at the door with a "Happy birthday". We were slightly early for our reservation and it was busy, so our table wasn't quite ready but we were allowed to hang out in the secret bar with delicious cocktails while we waited. Once our table was ready we were escorted to our table. Charles was our server and he was excellent! The food was top notch as well but the overall experience is what we will remember most about our evening.

   The team was great and loved taking care of us. Eat fish order popped with flavor that was distinct. The food presentation each time different staff member was explain with an enthusiasm and to enjoy. Hats off for achieving the purpose of eating out! Thank you 😊

   We went to The Charles for a birthday celebration for my partner, and nearly every staff member came by our spot at the bar to wish him a happy birthday. Our server, Kara, was delightful. She engaged in fun banter with us, she had great recommendations from the menu, and her service felt like a warm hug. We had the yummy Caesar Salad with charred lettuce and mild anchovies, oysters, the bucatini special, and the rack of lamb. Our bull came to over $400 for the two of us, but for a special birthday celebration, it was worth it.

    Another wonderful experience at the Charles! Superb service, excellent menu, and a great atmosphere. Not too loud for conversations but it does have a “bustle” vibe that can be loud at times. Our server James anticipated every next move as we sampled several dishes - outstanding service by James and many of the staff. Everyone we interacted with were attentive and pleasant. Consistently good place for a great meal!!
