   I would highly recommend The Charlotte to others to enjoy on any day outside of an holiday like Valentine’s Day. We enjoyed our experience however the wait time to be seated for a reservation we made was over an hour. If not having to wait isn’t an option, we would’ve loved an alternative. We paid in advance for the reservation as well as the Valentine’s Day special but it seemed a bit overpriced for what we ended up receiving when it comes to the overall experience. The food and our service received was exceptional I might add, making up for such a lapse in time waiting. Our server Alex really made our experience worthwhile despite the fact he’s an Ole Miss fan.    I don’t typically dine out on Valentine’s Day. I enjoyed the food and ambiance although I would have liked to have access to the prifix menu prior to my arrival. While the service seemed to be rushed which resulted in a not so pleasant dining experience. I recognize that it was a holiday and it was necessary to limit dining times in order to accommodate other reservations. I will return to try other standard menu items and compare service on a “regular” evening.

   It was a wonderful evening. The bear was a fun guest in our booth, which made for a perfect prop to take a picture, capturing all the vibes.

   My girlfriend and I spent the early afternoon of Valentines day  at the Charlotte. We started off with the crab fingers (Cajun style) and a couple of cocktails. I cannot stress this enough, if you try the crab fingers, you will not be disappointed.  For our entrées we had the crispy duck and spicy vodka pasta, both of which were magnificent. Overall the experience was incredible. Our server was pleasant, and we will definitely be returning.

   Well not knowing it closed at 10 and being allowed to make a reservation for 9:10 and then not being seated until 9:25 is what ruined it for us. The food was amazing but with our server seeming as if she was just trying to get us out of the restaurant the experience was not enough.

    The Charlotte in Dallas offers a delightful dining experience when it comes to flavor. The food and beverages were well-prepared, with great depth and balance in taste. However, there were some service-related issues that impacted the overall experience. One major concern was the staff’s lack of knowledge about allergens. In today’s dining landscape, clear allergen awareness is essential, yet there seemed to be confusion when we inquired about ingredients. The menu would greatly benefit from listing common allergens to make it easier for guests with dietary restrictions. Additionally, there was some disjointedness in service, particularly with order-taking. It was unclear who was responsible for our table, leading to unnecessary delays and repeated requests. Overall, The Charlotte has strong potential with its flavorful offerings, but improvements in staff training and menu clarity would elevate the dining experience.
