   Fantastic experience. No matter what you choose from the menu, it’s great. The food is consistently top-notch. Stellar waitress tonight — perfect service — attentive and friendly. She made up for the lackluster hostess at the front. Fun, lively, welcoming environment. While The Chocolatier is incredibly popular during the tourist season (and can be tough to get into), my favorite time to visit is the off-season — when the crowds are lighter, and the experience is even more relaxed and enjoyable.

   One of our meals were very spicy when it didn’t specifically say it was spicy on the menu.

   Allison, our waitress, was a delight! She was fun and happy. Everyone should be like Allison with customer service. Everyone made sure my food allergy was addressed. Everyone was friendly. Super experience. Thank you!

   Sadly the Chocolatier just is not good. It’s way overpriced for the area and quality of food. The noise level was high and the ambience is generic. We had the chicken nachos which was ok at best. The chicken was dry and it could use more toppings. I ordered the risotto and it was mush. My husband had the classic burger and that actually was ok. Our server however, was friendly and attentive.

   The food is mediocre at best. Basically an expensive bar food experience with too many “heavy” items. At least half of the menu items are fried. It appeared that the beer, wine and cocktail selection and preparation was the focus. Not the food. Our server was great! Noise level was high as it is deemed a family place.

    The meal was very good, the room was charming, but took almost an hour to receive the meals, even though we gave the entire group order weeks in advance. It would be very helpful as a motorcoach tour group to have better group menu options and dairy free options for our guests with food allergies. Also, would be nice to have updated information on Google Maps for how to enter as a motorcoach, or even to have been given some instructions via email as a group, since the entrance and parking lot system is so exhaustive. Hope to try again.
