   I've been coming to this restaurant for 8 years and they never disappoint!! My latest visit was to celebrate my mom's bday and I'm so glad I chose The Consulate. Our service was excellent and our waiter was so kind, funny, and helpful. Just another reason why i return to experience every menu I can. See you in June for Egypt!

   What n incredibly unique spot. Their rotating menu never fails to please. Food, beverages, and service is always top notch and the design of The Consulate is beautiful. We LOVE this family-run business in the heart of Midtown!

   I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. The food is always unique and flavorful. I am always impressed by the creativity of the chef. The bar and wait staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely a go-to restaurant.

   The service wasn’t matching the ambiance. Didn’t see the waiter most of the night. Stated they were short staffed. The food came out thrown together and cold. Over priced for poor service and poor quality food.

   You had a bad experience, and for that we are sorry. If your food was an issue, a mere mention would have had it corrected. We had a shortage of servers. Our kitchen was at full steam ahead and we stand by our premium quality. If you decide to give us a second try, I sent a DM with my email and will insure a correct experience.

   The food was excellent. Different and interesting. Ambiance was good but a tad noisy. Service was lacking compared to a previous experience. Server was only somewhat attentive. Drinks did not arrive until close to finishing appetizers. 3 entrees came out and 4th came 10 minutes later.

   Our server was fantastic! Knowledgable and friendly. Both dishes were very salty, but otherwise delicious. Would recommend.

   We weren’t sure what to expect but we had been wanting to try this restaurant. It was amazing. We ordered a lot of different dishes to share and none of them disappointed us! We will be coming back soon!!!!

    The food was average and overpriced, but I didn’t mind that too much. What really frustrated me was the service. The waiter was extremely slow in taking our drink and main orders, and when it was time to pay, we had to wait 30 to 40 minutes just to get the check—with no sign of the waiter. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I don’t plan on returning.
