   We were looking for a fun, interesting experience. This place delivered. A TON of food - we got the huge grilled meat platter. It was awesome. Spicy, juicy, smokey. Our server, Gregory, was great - giving great advice, but not over bearing. The vibe was fun, great music. When we come back to DC, we’ll be back.

   I went here for my birthday last night and a time was had!!!!! The waiters, the hostesses, and the chef showed mad loveee!!!!! 10/10 Would recommend!!!!

   I had a fantastic time at The Continent DC. The service was phenomenal, they checked on me multiple times throughout the night to make sure I was good. The food was so good and worth the money. I can definitely see myself going again. A big shout out to our server, Micheal he made my first visit at the Continent amazing!

   My experience was great! The staff was polite, the food was good, and the dj was on point with the music. It was a 10/10 experience for me and I’d definitely be back 😌

   Best restaurant in DC. A must visit when in the city. Food was excellent and flavorful. Drinks were refreshing and on point. Service was attentive and impeccable.Ambiance is awesome and vibrant. On a personal note, I inquired about their African Map lapel pins and one of two managers personally came over to presented one of their own to me. Now that’s above and beyond customer care. Thank you The Continent DC for a beautiful experience.

    The Continent DC, WOW...I must say, was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. This vibrant, upscale West African restaurant in Washington, DC, effortlessly captures the warmth, richness, and energy of the culture it represents. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an incredibly welcoming staff whose energy and professionalism set the tone for the evening. The ambiance was nothing short of stunning—inspired African artwork adorned the space, creating a perfect blend of modern elegance and cultural authenticity. The restaurant is spacious yet intimate, offering an atmosphere that makes you feel both special and at home. Now, let’s talk about the food—simply perfection! Every dish was a masterpiece, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. We savored shrimp and beef samosas, Liberian cassava leaf, moi moi, Tiger Shrimp, and branzino—each bite bursting with bold flavors and seasoned to perfection. It was like taking a culinary journey across West Africa. The drinks were equally impressive. We tried "The Lagos" signature cocktail and another standout drink, something with "Laphroaig" 🤣...anyway, both crafted with precision and creativity. Each sip was a celebration on its own. Beyond the food and drinks, the vibe was electric. The energy in the room, the music, and the joyful spirit of everyone present transported us back home. It felt nostalgic yet refreshing—a true cultural experience in the heart of DC. Lastly, the pricing was fair, considering the quality of the food, drinks, and overall experience. It’s clear that every detail, from the decor to the menu, has been thoughtfully curated. A huge shoutout to Chaz and the entire team at The Continent DC for creating such a magical space.
