   Honestly, this is the first time I have been disappointed with The Cork. To start with, it took awhile to place our order. Then, people that came in after us and were seated after us, received their order before we did. When the food arrived, my order was not warm at all. Don’t know if it sat on a shelf or what before it came to me, but it was not warm. My toast was so cold that the butter I spread on it didn’t melt! The eggs were not warm either. I ordered them over easy and the running yolks were cold. The server did not check up on us at all. Had to look for her and flag her down to get a refill on my coffee. My wife ordered hot tea. The teapot she received was barely filled. She couldn’t even pour herself a second cup! We’ve been there before and left extremely pleased, but not so much this time.

   Everything excellent except for the food tasted like the chef dumped a salt shaker over the entire meal including the soup, appetizers, and fries. No other restaurants use that much salt. Wow! The salt ruined what was very good food!

   I’ve eaten at The Cork several times and will most likely never return. I’ve always found the food to be rather bland and not very tasty. I’ve found the quality of the food to be just barely average on every visit. I’ve had much better meals at other places at less than half the cost of a meal at The Cork. The service hasn’t been much better than the food. At least to me, this restaurant has been a continual disappointment.

   One of the best places to eat in Erie hands down. Great food and atmosphere always.

   We needed quiet seating and were thrilled. Our waitress, Bella, was friendly, courteous, efficient. Tammy checked to see that we were happy with the food and service. This was our son’s first visit at the Cork. He loved it!

   We were grateful that our reservation request to sit toward the back where it’s quieter was honored. We had a pleasant table and were able to carry on conversation. We enjoyed the chopped salad, bourbon chicken and short rib gnocchi, followed by a shared piece of NY style cheesecake. The wine menu is extensive, both by the glass and bottle. Thanks for a nice evening.

   Everything was great. The Greek chicken that they have had on their menu for awhile they took off. That’s one of the reasons we go back. They put a burbon chicken in its place. It was good but not as good as the Greek lemon chicken. Service was wonderful. Our server was very attentive.

    Amazing menu and food was fantastic. I’m from Pittsburgh and I meet my friend from Niagara Falls every year and we have dinner here. Hands down the best 🩷
