Established at the top of Portland's Old Port since 2009, The Corner Room offers guests a convival & socialable atmosphere with exceptional service. A gathering spot where friends & families can share a snack or a meal. Enjoy seating at the taps, antipasti bar, or table service -all with views of the open kitchen.
Head Chef Greg Wilson & Sous Chef Jason Macguire create staple dishes using local & Italian ingrediants with authentic techniques. The menu is pleasingly varied. Delight in the Bruschetta, Verduras, Procsciutto & Greens Pizza or Fettucini Bolognese to name a few - all served with a well rounded wine, spirit, & beer selection. Founded By Chef/Owner Harding Lee Smith, The Corner Room, is part of "The Rooms" Restaurant Group.

One of the best servers / service we have had all year. Looked like a good value happy hour at the Bar only. The Pasta dishes were amazing. The pizza was very good, but not as good as the pasta. The bread was also great.

Per usual, we had another amazing meal at the Corner Room. We celebrated with a family birthday and were treated like royalty by our amazing server, Sean. The food is always top notch in quality and we can’t wait to come back again soon!

Not our usual experience from "The Rooms". We waited 50 mins for our beef cappaccio appetizer then another 35 mins for our meals. It was very strange. Our waitress was friendly, but inattentive. Our bill included three items we didn't order. We were rushed to eat bc of a show start time despite having a reservation two hrs prior to start time. When we asked for the check bc we were in a hurry she brought over the dessert menu instead. We left frustrated. But as always, the food was incredible.

Excellent freshly made focaccia, mozzarella and pasta! We had warm focaccia, wonderful caprese and CR chopped with arugula and roasted chickpeas, a fettuccine bolognese, smoked pork penne with a bottle of luscious Tolanini Toscana Valdisanti. Desert was a chocolate almond torte and a little Vin Santo. Wonderful food and service!

We a had a wonderful dinner before attending a show. Our waiter Sean was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was delicious from our antipasto platter, cocktails, pasta dishes and crème brûlée with biscotti. I had the pasta with mushrooms and I would definitely order it again. Homemade biscotti was to die for! Looking forward to returning.

We always enjoy your meals at the corner room. Our waitress made excellent recommendations and the food was delicious. We weren’t rushed in or out and had time to enjoy our meal. Seeing it cooked in front of us was a bonus. Will definitely be back again soon.
