   Even though we had a reservation, the hostess seemed to not know what to do with us and showed us to a very undesirable table. We asked for a better table, which she accommodated. The restaurant was VERY cold. The server, Michael, was very attentive and helpful. The food (Tuscan soup and short ribs) was very good.

   Visit was on on Christmas Eve. The food was very good but the amount of time to receive our meals was way longer than expected. We waited an hour and fifteen minutes. Also $18 for 4 average store size shrimp is outrageous.

   The food is very good and the atmosphere is amazing! Our serve was JJ and he was working the entire restaurant by himself and was doing an excellent job. We had the hummus and it was amazing! The deviled eggs were also a great tasting appetizer. My husband the burger with fries and our daughter had the salmon with the sweet corn succotash and honestly everything was absolutely amazing! The place gives off a 1920’s vibe and I just love the decor. Daniel was the host and everyone worked together in unison to get food out and the Salted Caramel Gelato is a must try! Thank you JJ and Juicy for all your hard work!

   Went for pre theatre meal. Service was very slow. Food was rather basic. I would perhaps return for happy hour.

   Wonderful food, great service. Music started about a half hour after we arrived. It was not extremely loud and the singer’s voice was pleasant. So we could still talk. Great experience. We will be back!

   The Santa Brunch was a joke. They should be ashamed for charging people for this. No signs, no one directing you where to go. The food was from a continental breakfast and no plates, no servers. 10:45am reservation. 6 people total in the room (hotel ballroom not the Dan!) No Christmas music. It literally looked thrown together. I spoke with the hotel manager and it was. He said he wasn’t aware it was being held, he thought the restaurant was managing it. It’s so sad because Tampa needs a nice Santa brunch like the Birchwood in St Pete but they really messed this up and guarantee no one will be back. We told them we weren’t paying and he apologized and told us he didn’t expect us to. However seems other people did pay and the hotel should be ashamed for even asking for payment.

   Came for the Santa Brunch on 12/14. Listing mentioned a chef curated buffet, waffle bar, French toast and bottomless mimosas. We arrived and not only could nobody tell us where the brunch was (a random ballroom and not The Dan) but the brunch consisted of a pot of runny eggs, bacon and stale waffles. The only bright side was the photographer and Santa who were great. I do feel bad because it looked like they were expecting more decorations and had to move spots to try and make things more festive. Not sure what happened here but somebody dropped the ball.

    We got stuck in a traffic jam. They graciously accomodated our delayed reservation, and sped up our food so we didn't miss our show. The service was fantastic, the ambience was fun and the food was terrific. We will definitely return!
