   We had to cancel our meal and leave because it took 45 minutes to get our appetizer and we had to be at a Broadway show. I booked a reservation 90mins before the show and we hadn’t even gotten salads by 7:20. We ended up having to run to the Aronoff to make the show on time. A bummer because we love this place.

   The food was great as usual. The kitchen was very slow but our server was apologetic and comped our drinks despite the fact that we never complained. The restaurant is comfortable and a hot spot, but just a bit too noisy for easy conversation. Food pricing is very reasonable for a restaurant of this quality.

   Love the ambiance of The Davidson and especially all the windows looking onto Fountain Square area. The food is good and the vibe is fun. I would recommend that you stay away from their special cocktails. I have ordered one during each of my visits and they both have been underwhelming and light on alcohol so not worth it.

   On a busy night they were able to get us out in under 90 minutes to see a play without feeling rushed. Fondue app & Scallops were delish. Veal was tough but tasty. Pesto pasta was ok. Ordered with chicken & it came on the side vs incorporated into the dish. Overall pricy, but nice night.

    We loved the staff showing us with celebration for our anniversary. We are so thankful for the experience that we had tonight and we will definitely be back.
