    I had high hopes & it was a bit of let down. I thought for the price it would be better, the scallops were undercooked. My beef tenderloin was cold & chewy. My husband got the German butter ravioli that was good but small portions. The staff & overall atmosphere was great, however the food was disappointing.

    Date night. We enjoyed the Chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing. The service, explanations and descriptions of each food and wine course was expertly crafted and delivered. This was one of the most creative and delicious tasting menus we’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. Victoria is seriously establishing itself as a beautiful city with world class chefs and restaurants.

    My main was a piece of pork the size of a deck of cards, dry and overcooked surrounded by cold,tough bok choy, raw and undressed daikon also ice cold. VERY little effort from chef tonight. Another diner had ravioli which consisted of 6 very thin ravioli with an exceptionally oily sauce that was almost cloying. Server tried to be attentive but the restaurant seemed to be understaffed. Might have caught them on an off night, but with a restaurant presenting itself as a first class experience, they should never miss that badly.

    Came here for a family dinner celebration and had an excellent experience! Service was top notch from everyone involved, including some exceptional wine recommendations from Jack. Food was amazing, Hoisin Pork Belly, Mushroom Risotto, and the Duck & Cassoulet were some standouts. Cheers to Chef Brian and his team! We will certainly be back!!
