Perfectly located in the sand dunes overlooking the Ocean Grove surf beach, The Dunes restaurant is the ideal spot all year round.

Light, open and breezy in summer, warm and cozy in winter. The exterior of the building has been designed by renowned architect Wood Marsh, while the interior was completed by Zwei interiors.

Although the building boasts high-end credentials, there is nothing stuffy about the restaurant, it is all about friendly service and great quality food. We have worked tirelessly to create a place where everyone can feel welcome and at home while enjoying the best spot in Ocean Grove.

Lovely ambiance with friendly staff and an awesome view… but that’s where it ends for us! Over priced for very ordinary and somewhat tasteless food. The meal was nothing short of disappointing… the overall service was slow and we waited too long to order and had to continually gain the waitstaff’s attention for service.

Always a great meal and great service. I recommend getting sharing dishes and the cocktails are a must, I tried the watermelon spritz this time and it was delish and refreshing.

Beautiful food and location, great atmosphere and value for money. We had a few hiccups with being place to sit, and ordering but the host recognised this and gave us free dessert which we did not expect at all. Highly recommend.
