   Great food and gracious service at the food market! Generous portions are a bonus. Loved the crab soup with a little crab cake and the beet salad was fantastic.

   We started by ordering the birria empanadas as an app which tasted fine. For main courses we ordered a Pat LaFrieda burger and cast iron steak. When my burger arrived, it was covered with crumbled bacon that was extremely salty and had a very unappetizing and indescribable flavor. The server walked by and saw me attempting to scrape the bacon off my burger (which was also taking the cheese off with it) and offered to have cheese remelted on it and add regular bacon instead so I agreed. In the meantime, I noticed my husband did not appear to be enjoying his steak. He’s not one to complain but he finally told me it tasted off. This is a man which an iron-clad stomach who will eat just about anything. When my burger came back, it still didn’t taste right so neither of us continued eating except for some fries. When the server returned and saw most of our food on our plates, she asked if we’d like containers to-go but my husband said no thank you and proceeded to pay the check. The server took the plates of food but I was a bit surprised she didn’t inquire as to why we didn’t eat it or want to take it with us. I do feel that we should have spoken to a manager but at that point, we just wanted to leave. I won’t even bother explaining what transpired the previous time we ate at The Food Market a year ago, but we’d decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

   It was an ok experience. I definitely expected the food to be better but it wasn’t terrible. I was happy it was a decent price at the very least. Mimosa was amazing. The complimentary donut holes they give were a plus.

   The food market never disappoints. Food is always phenomenal & creative. Service is always wonderful from the minute you walk in the door. You won't be disappointed ever!

   We had brunch, rib tip meal, burger, shrimp and grits, French toast appetizer, and cream of crab soup. All was AMAZING and delicious. We couldn’t even eat it all. We also had mimosas. There was a “military breakfast” meal… that’s the name of it. We did send back because it was too dry and over cooked including the eggs HOWEVER they were polite enough to exchange it with no issue. Atmosphere was “come back soon”. They were welcoming. The location of the front door is in the cut so park in the garage behind it and walk the walkway between the gates. We will return… oh we came for a birthday and they gave the birthday girl a special treat.

    This was my first visit to the Food Market. The experience was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. Asher was the best. He answered all our questions and made sure we enjoyed our meal. I am certainly recommending this restaurant to my friends.
