The Fool’s Lantern is St. Michaels’ first and only self-serve wine & taproom. With our unique "Drink Wall", customers can sample a selection of wine and beer, each dispensed at the push of a button. This unique, self-serve option lets the customers select a sip, a taste, or a glass, allowing them to discover what they like best. Once they find their favorite, guests can enjoy a glass or more, order from the menu, and even purchase bottles to take home. Our drink wall will change periodically so you’ll never have the same experience twice! Our menu consists of a variety of small plates, charcuterie, flatbreads, sandwiches, dips, and desserts.

The staff are so friendly and attentive! We ordered a bunch of shareables - spanakopita, tenderloin sliders, crab dip, Brussel sprouts, and avocado deviled eggs - they were all great. I think my favorite was the crab dip. The only thing I was sad we didn’t get to try was the vino board bc they were out of the ingredients but overall was a wonderful time and great food! I would definitely come back here again.

Very neat concept with excellent food options and drinks. We were very happy with all of the food items we chose and enjoyed the different beer and wine options. Would definitely recommend!

Overall good. Bar wall is fun and getting try different beers and wine, but can get costly. Service was great and staff friendly. Food good, but I don't think worth price.

Delicious food. Fabulous service. They have a pour your own wine and beer. Which i have never seen before. There are several dispensaries along the wall. Great way to try different wines or beers. Friday nights they have a game night where you guess the most popular answer to questions. Competing with other diners. Had a wonderful time.

I was dining alone. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They were attentive but not overbearing and the food was delicious. In addition, the atmosphere is so friendly and conducive to interacting that I met another solo diner and had a wonderful conversation. Totally delightful experience!

We had a wonderful lunch visit. The wine/beer experience was a lot of fun. You get a card and you swipe it to pour your own. Prices by the ounce. Nice selections. The food was really good. We had the crispy brussel sprouts - very good - huge portion, also had the cheese fondue - fun and the fondue was delicious. Also had the tenderloin sliders- nice amount and we loved they came on little pitas, the Rooster - really good chicken salad and a very nice amount of it. The side salad came with their Feta house vinaigrette-OMG I could have eaten it with a spoon. Also had Josie’s gyro with steak.

The food was good but the portions are smallish (tapas) size. The service was sporadic but pleasant. The interior is nice and there is a decent selection of items. The deviled eggs were a big hit as was the crab dip. Overall, nice but probably not the place to go if you are looking for a full meal. The taps for wine and brew were interesting and allowed you to sample many different offerings. The dessert menu looked delicious as well
