The Forest Hotel is a boutique hotel and bar with 12 luxury bedrooms and an award-winning Gastro-Pub restaurant, located in the heart of Dorridge, directly opposite the train station. An 1870's coach house turned boutique hotel, The Forest Hotel bridges traditional with contemporary. My party of 5 all had different main courses; all said their dish was excellent. My fillet steak was one of the best I’ve had. Would have liked more mushrooms with the steak. Our waitress was very attentive and easy to talk to. A genuinely pleasant girl. I didn’t get her name but hope you can identify her, as she needs to be praised for a job well done!

Despite repeatedly asking for good Gluten Free bread and “normal” bread, we are regularly disappointed. We enjoy coming, the staff are friendly and the food is good but in a hotel it seems strange that these small requests cannot be catered for easily.

Best beef pie I have ever tasted. Crispy kale and wonderful mashed potatoes. Great service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Such a shame that the restaurant was so cold! We sat in the restaurant and the room was so cold, with no apologies made by the staff when seating you, & small heaters trying to keep the room warm. I had to eat in my coat, completely understand these things happen but it should have been addresses. The food was going cold quickly too which again is a shame.
