   It was ok. I think I’d like it more outside when the weather is nicer, not a formal dinner spot but it’s nice inside.

   This was my 2nd time at The Fort. I ordered the grain bowl both times and it was just as good this time. My mushroom toast appetizer came out cold, which was very strange. I took most of it home and heated it up, which was much better. Our server was lovely and attentive. My only complaint is how noisy it is. I understand if the bar area is loud, but both of the dining rooms are so loud, it is hard to have a conversation. I wish that the rooms had some noise reduction tiles.

   Glad to see another restaurant closer to home, but there clearly is a noise issue. Not only did a couple warn us while exiting the restaurant (always a bad sign), but the four of us were shouting at each other in order to be heard. Instead of the TVs with fire-pit videos, the walls could use some soundproofing panels. Drinks were good & menu options seemed excellent, but the execution was a little off. Food was a bit bland in taste. Overall, it didn’t seem to be a great value for dinner.

   Everything was excellent…food, wait staff, servers, check-in staff. The only complaint was we feel the staff should ASK if you want water or not rather than automatically bringing it. It’s too valuable to waste.

    The food and service was very good,. The noise level was so high it was hard to have a conversation. You need to be part lip reader.
