    Food was fantastic and our server was great. Unfortunately we were seated very close to table with someone talking very loudly. It’s crowded at the Gage and I actually think that adds to Chicago restaurant vibe but this person couldn’t stop talking. It didn’t ruin our evening but it was very annoying.

    It was a lovely atmosphere where you were able to have a good conversation. The food was delicious, diverse so all six of us ordered something different and everything was good.

    This restaurant should have GF buns/bread for their patrons! Seriously unthinkable for a restaurant of this quality. No GF bun or bread??? How hard is that!! Very disappointed.

    We loved our lunch at the Gage! The fried zucchini sandwich, fish and chips, curry and burger were all so tasty! Loved the scotch egg appetizer also.

    A favorite place in Chicago. A terrific, convenient location across from Millennium Park, and a wonderful ambience. The food and service were both outstanding. We began our meal with lobster bisque, which was exquisite. I had the delicious Beef Bourguignon, which was presented beautifully and made with shortribs. Wonderful. My friend had the apple salad with steak, and raved in particular about the delicious caraway dressing. We shared the flourless chocolate cake for a yummy dessert, and cafe cortado. And we both had beautiful beaujolais. In all, a fabulous experience!

    I always love this place. It’s noisy but front but much quieter in the back. Excellent food, good service, friendly staff, good ambiance. It never fails to please.
