Searching for a dreamy ‘WFH’ destination? The Garden is the perfect retreat, where peace and productivity come together in perfect harmony. Feel a sense of calm as you lose yourself among the greenery with natural light and comfortable seating. Our Wi-Fi is free of charge, and you can tuck into a selection of pastries, from 9am-2pm every day. There's no need to book, just pop by whenever takes your fancy.

Unwind in our hidden gem every Saturday and Sunday, where weekends are all about about eggs royale, brioche French toast, strawberry and cream waffles, lots more brunch classics and good vibes. Brunch is available from 11am, with last sitting at 1.30pm.

Here for weekend brunch. On a cold, grey, wet day, it was a really nice, bright inviting environment. Service was good. Eggs Royale, French toast and Bloody Mary were tasty. Waffles however were really poor value, £10.50 for one waffle (not freshly made), 4 or 5 berries and a bit of creme fraiche, felt like a rip off.

Service was slow and we were the only table in there. Food was cold and serving were very small for the cost. Food was sent back and tool so long to come out everyone had finishes their meal. Pretty poor considering we were the only people they had to serve.

I dined here for lunch and I believe it is very different for a dinner experience. It was operating more like a bistro at lunch time. The menu choice was very limited and a bit underwhelming. I opted for the club sandwich and truffle fries which was tasty. It is a nice location and almost £20 for a club sandwich and fries just reflects you are eating in a hotel. I think you would need to have dinner in the evening before you can pass judgement on the overall food offering.

I have been in The Garden several times before. It’s a great space. Years ago I drank in The Consort Bar every Friday night. A bit like going home! We were given a warm welcome,a nice table and although the staff were rather busy we were not neglected! The food was fab and a reasonable bottle of rosé wine and then chocolates at the end made it all feel like a special occasion. It was! It was my 76th birthday. I can’t write short! Sorry.

We went for mine and my twin sisters birthday. Unfortunately everything that could do wrong did. We ordered and breakfast/brunch, it was over 50 minutes before it came (we chased a lot to see where it was as well). Once it came all the food was cold, the eggs were solid and just generally everything was badly cooked. We were told it was a new chef, we sent my food back and had to wait a further 30 mins for a new dish to come by which time everyone else at our table had finished their food. The new dish was much better once it came but it was just eggs Benedict! We were so disappointed, the staff did make it right and compensated us but it really ruined the day as we hate to complain.

Club sandwich was in fact an egg sandwich with odd bit of chicken, bacon etc. So much egg!! Sis taken 50% of this item. Also don’t take cash and waitress unhelpful about this. Won’t be back.
