   The Valentine’s Day special of hangar steak and lobster tail was to die for and one of the best dishes I’ve had in Annapolis. Atmosphere was warm and lively, drinks were on point. Great service! So glad we chose The Goat!

   It was quaint and intimate. Our server was amazing and very accomodating. Also the food was fabulous. Looking forward to returning.

   My wife and I made Friday night reservations at 6:30. When we walked in, the place was empty. We soon learned why. We ordered drinks, but they did not have any top-shelf bourbon or gin. We settled for something we would not normally drink. We ordered the poppers, which arrived cold and flavorless. The cheese was not even melted. I ordered the carne asada. Although the strips of steak were a good cut, they were not seasoned. The side was a scoop of plain white rice (cold), with some flavorless kidney beans on top. My wife had the Pescados--a severely overcooked (probably twice) piece of "Mahi", accompanied by the same scoop of white rice (cold) as on my plate. The staff was wonderful and the place has good potential, but the bar and kitchen need work.

   We enjoyed everything about The Goat! The service was outstanding and atmosphere was very cozy. Chef Trevor came out a greeted us. This wasn’t the first time nor the last! Definitely worth going. Can’t wait to see what the nee desserts will be! The espresso martini and spicy margaritas are a must try.

   Molly was a wonderful server and took great care of us. Menu is small and hard to find something for dinner. I had the smothered burrito which usually means very saucy of melted cheese sauce or in this case red sauce, BUT this had red paste on it that was like eating dried spices a with a tiny bit of water - it was truly awful; octopus was good but small portion. We had been for cocktails last year and chips and gauc were wonderful so decided for a full meal. Unfortunately we will not be back.

   Fun environemnt but we did not enjoy our food. We had the octopus and the sweet potato black bean tostada. Both were interestingly prepared but were mild in flavor. Our service was also quite slow, we had to ask to order our meal, as for water from the bar, and ask for the check.
