This is not the high tea experience it once was. The teas themselves are still very fine, but the pastries are hardly above supermarket quality. And the whole affair has been downgraded to the point that tshirts and sneakers are deemed appropriate. Disappointing is an understatement for $70 per person.

Lovely server, Hiwat did an excellent job and very attentive to my needs and other customers from what I observed. I love the food and the atmosphere was very relaxing with piano player, Jack playing soothing tunes. The price was very reasonable for a mini bottle of champagne (which I got the #Moetmoment package).

My daughter and I love Afternoon Tea. The last Afternoon Tea we went to was at the Empress in Victoria which is fabulous. The afternoon tea at The Grand Atrium at the Brown Palace was absolutely wonderful, it was exactly what we were hoping for. The staff was courteous, kind and attentive. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. The quality of the tea and items served were excellent. We will return.

The tea in the Grand Atrium at the Brown Palace does not disappoint. We’ve done tea several times for several different occasions. The tea is great , the food is delicious. Not to mention, the atmosphere is delightful. The historic decor and ambience take you back in time. Highly recommend it! We’ll be back!

We had a lovely Lovely time, though the tables for two were far too close. We were eager to leave so we didn't have to constantly hear the other's conversation while we're trying to have our own. They weren't even loud, just right next to us as if we were sharing a table. The food was fine and service was great! Beautiful venue!

Our servers worked hard to keep us with everything we needed, they made an extra effort to celebrate the birthday with a cupcake!
