   We went in the evening. We had reservations and there was still a line. My husband's silverware was dirty. We started getting food and never got our drinks and had to ask the person serving the meat if he could help and he did and brought us water and clean silverware. Kudos to him! It wasn't his job. Discount service for a discount price. We used Groupon. Sadly I bought 2 vouchers and prefer not to go back.

   Our server Patrick C was quite busy and overwhelmed, had to ask for refills several times and once he snapped at us saying “everyone wants something” not cool at all, this mandatory 20% tip (almost $40 for 3 of us) is ridiculous, he didn’t care at all knowing he’d get a tip regardless of service, food was good BUT won’t be returning

   There was so many people that the food was not getting the attention it should be during preparation. Multiple time the meat was cut at the table and still blue and almost cold under the crust.

   The service was horrible had a 8:45 pm reservation an we didn’t get seated till 9:40 an the front desk was rude an disrespectful

   Greeters were overwhelmed and didn’t have a good methodology for sorting reservations from walk ins. That was bad for everyone and generated a very long line out the door unnecessarily. Once seated everything was fine, great server.

   I love Ipanema, but was sadly disappointed last night. I will never go again for a holiday. They had extra tables, so we were packed together with barely room to walk around. There was a 20% gratuity added to our check, and we literally only had our waitress check on us when I called her over to us. It took 25 minutes to get our drinks. It took 20 minutes to get seated when we had a reservation. They didn't serve some of their normal things I love because they were so busy, some people got them, and others didn't (cheese balls, sweet banana). It was also so loud, I felt like I had to yell for my husband to hear me. I would recommend going on a normal day to get a good experience.

   Everyone was amazing especially the servers and the gauchos. They are very nice and friendly. We enjoyed our dinner. The salad bar was actually really good, has good flavors and the bean soup was yummy! The meats were AMAZING. Our favorite was definitely the House Special, the sausage and the rib eye. This is a good place especially for special occasions. Overall loved the experience. My husband enjoyed his pre-birthday dinner. 😊

    We enjoyed this place Marcella came around with the meat and was sweet and our whole table enjoyed her. We went on a Thursday and it was quiet and mellow. The meat came at a great rate and having the same lady felt intimate. Some of the group had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse and I; 'm happy we chose here over a Fogo de Chao.
