We have never been to the Grove before but went as part of Napa Restaurant Week. I am fairly new to Napa so really appreciate Restaurant week. On to the meal. We brought our own wine and corkage is reasonable at $20. We had the Best salad that we had had for a long time. Dressing was light and well distrubuted. We each chose the same Pasta dish of Bucatini with crab. It was a bit spicy for me but not my partner. Lots of Crab for the dish. Serving size was adequate. We ordered the foccia wasn't terrible good. We would not order that again. We had the heated olives with our wine before we ordered dinner and were really lovely.A delightful Lemon Boudino was for desert. Very fresh and a welcome to me for the spicy pasta dish. Our server Maria was always there when we wanted something but never hovering. Service was excellent! We wished the lights could be dimmed during the din her hour was the only complaint. Rachael the Manager came to our table to ask how we enjoyed our meal. She mentioned all the activities The Grove is planning for the summer months. We can't wait!

The service was nice but the food wasn’t very good. We ordered pastas and they were overwhelmed with garlic flavor and the fish dish was not even 3oz …. A little disappointed

This was the most memorable part of our first time in Napa. We did the $75 per person tasting menu which was part of restaurant month. The salad was made from greens that were grown in their garden. The focaccia was warm and had a perfect texture and taste. We had the Dungeness crab and rye pasta for our pasta course, and I will be dreaming about that for days to come, we had the rockfish With Manila clams as our main course, and it was perfectly prepared and artfully presented. Finally, we had the little donuts and the lemon dessert, and I can’t remember the exact name now, but they were both delicious and the perfect ending to a beautiful dinner. The service was exquisite, and the staff were welcoming without being stuffy or pretentious. I would highly recommend The Grove at Copia. I will be returning the next time. I am in Napa.

I was a bit surprised, was very much looking forward to this place but the menu and the taste of the food was just off for me.. first I was expecting Mediterranean food but didn’t realize the menu changes month over month? Which is fine, but when we get to the menu itself (which was Italian) - there just weren’t many delicious options? Regardless we ordered and the gluten free pasta (chickpea) was SO SALTY I was surprised they even pushed it out to a customer to eat it because it was indigestible. We ended up returning it and asking for a new one but just overall it was mediocre and wouldn’t go out of my way to visit especially for a special occasion. Btw - I went for my 31st birthday.

Salt was overpowering in everything we ordered. I really disliked the food. It was a huge miss.

We selected the 4 course menu - after our first course which arrived in a timely manner, everything went south. It took 55 minutes to get our pasta (2nd) course. Not sure what happened to the kitchen but we had a clear view and it looked like it just froze. It took probably 45 minutes to get our 3rd course. Our server wasn't forthcoming explaining the delay which was frustrating. The food was very good once we got it.

It is with deep sadness that I share the spectacular failure of a 25 anniversary dinner experience at The Grove. Took 90 minutes to serve us cold dishes and my daughter politely asked me if there should only be 6 rigatoni in her dish ?!? There were waiters knocking into each other through the kitchen door, waiters breaking glasses, the chefs dropping large pans and a very apologetic waiter who looked like he had no idea how to function. The entire experience was absurd. We did not complain; our mortified waiter took 10 percent off our bill and we left quickly after paying an exorbitant amount for our meal. Who pays $5/rigatoni ??? What a shame. This would not be acceptable in any viable establishment. Recommend to get this coordinated. This was the most colossal failure of a dining experience I have had. Somebody pay attention and fix this.
