   All of the meat was dry and lacking flavor. Soufflé was just mush. I have a fairly small appetite but left hungry. Staff were superb. Food massively let this place down. It was our 2nd visit and unfortunately it will be our last. Not a patch on the Elderflower and food was less enjoyable than majority of places in Lymington or Milford. Very disappointing.

   Delightful family Sunday Roast on a cold winter's day. Very welcoming with fabulous food in plentiful supply, including a very thoughtful extra Yorkshire Pud for our 14mth Granddaughter. She loved it! Nice extra touches as it was a birthday celebration. Definitely a hit - we'll be back!

   Christmas menu choice of four on each course, excellent value for food beautifully presented, locally sourced and freshly cooked. Maybe a small light bite menu alongside for people who don't want a heavier meal at lunchtime.

    Top drawer Sunday lunch - great combination of imaginative starters (soup with a bhaji!) and desserts with a fantastic traditional roast in the middle. Laura and the team were great hosts. Definitely recommended.
