   We when here on Christmas night and it was great. We had the crab cakes and scallops. They were both excellent

   The mussels were gritty and the portion a bit small. The Caesar shouldn’t exist like that, it should come with a warning “not a traditional CS”. Loved everything else.

   Great Christmas Eve dinner with the family. Delicious holiday specials. The beef Wellington and the crab stuffed flounder were above our expectations! Jane, our server, was exceptional and lovely. Beautiful ambiance and excellent cocktails!

   My husband and I loved our experience at the Independent. Everything was perfect. The food was beautifully presented and exceptional. The staff from the hostess, Jenn, to our server, Maddie, made us feel welcome and special. Can’t wait to return. Merry Christmas!

   They have added a couple of new choices for their brunch menu. We tried the new crab dip that has a hint of Old Bay croutons flavor and will come back just for that dish. It is prepared in a cast iron skillet with toasted bread slices for dipping. DELICIOUS!!!!

   It was absolutely delicious as always! Ruthie is always wonderful and was just the same today! I highly recommend the brunch burger, french fries, and cinnamon roll for brunch and ANY seafood for dinner (particularly the low tide spread)!
