Beautiful food and lovely friendly staff. Went for brunch on Sunday morning, it was moderately busy but not too loud and the service was impeccable. Will definitely return

I'm fairly regular here - about 3-4 times a year either my booking or as a guest. Last few times the service has been average. Last night we were showed to our table by front of house but no drink offered. It's quite difficult to get the attention of staff and the ones attending to other tables do not make eye contact so I had to say "excuse me" quite loudly to get attention. Drinks were fairly slow to arrive. Once our guests arrived they wanted drinks so we asked the guy who brought my drinks. He didn't know which gins were on offer and said he'd return but didn't. We eventually got drinks!! Food was okay, I had Sirloin steak but some of it was gristly and I couldn't eat it. Not a huge problem. Lastly, the lack of lighting in there is getting a bit silly, especially in some parts of restuarant. It's so dark that you see lots of people using the torches on their phones to read the menu. I literlly couldn't see what I was eating. The atmosphere and surroundings are great (except darkness). They seem to be losing what made them special and if go again I will take one of those LED table lamps.

Superb dining experience as always from Ivy! We were celebrating a birthday and being at the Ivy made it more enjoyable. Food was fantastic, we opted for 2 course xmas set menu and it was great portions and quality of food. Would highly recommend to others. Staff were attentive and friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Thanks for a great night!

Too noisy too many customers to be able to serve well. Music was just a surge increasing the difficulty to hear yourself speak our wine was served to the wrong table!!! The bill over charge was £150 due to wrong drinks and too many set xmas meals. It took 4 attempts to get it right. The level of food quality was very average. Over cooked fish; warm food, ordinary visual . I thought the Ivy was high class dining !! It's not its formulaic average quality and boring. Will not be ripped off there again. It's purely a money making business for rich investors. Think again

A good experience given the time of the year, restaurant was very busy but the team maintained a good level of service. One small critique on one of the main courses steak was overcooked, but was taken off the final bill.

I was very disappointed with the visit and so many aspects were a let down. White americano with no milk. Had to ask for sugar, both the sugar and milk then took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive. Surely sugar should come with the coffee? It never ever does. One order (poached eggs on avocado) was stone cold and had to be returned. How can a meal be served stone cold? The vegetarian breakfast came without poached eggs, that too had to be returned to the kitchen. The third breakfast was ok, but the diner was unsure whether to start (avoiding hers going cold) or wait. Ketchup had to be asked for and that arrived as I was finishing my meal. On top of that, the service was poor. The service staff seemed disinterested, there was no apology for the cold breakfast, or the one missing items. At no point did any waiting staff come over and ask how our meal was, or if we needed anything. They even do that in a JD Whetherspoons and it's a standard expectation. The experience was dreadful and the service here is always like that. No one asks how the meal is, constantly have to ask staff for basic thing. I only return as the food itself, when it isn't stone cold, is very good and it is close to my office. This breakfast was a thank you to a member of staff, and we expected much better. Sadly I cannot recommend this place.

We were a group of 9 and they tried to make us sit at a table that could seat 6 comfortably. When we asked for a bigger table we were told there weren’t any although next to us was a whole section with people in it. They said the section was closed! Much like McDonald’s does. We waited u til other tables were free and finally were seated. The deposit of £90 was not deducted from the bill and for a booking that costing £1035 it was a disappointment. Food was ok and our waitress was attentive but overall, not great value for money epitomised by the rudeness of the man who wouldn’t allow us to sit comfortably without our insistance.
