Went for breakfast. Food poor. We were early and our service was good but we noticed that the service got slower and slower as more customers arrived.

The food and service we received was excellent - only areas for criticism was where we were seated was close to the kitchen and the corridor was cluttered and constantly in view and the almonds nibble was tasty but the amount was small for paying €6.

Was very busy and extremely noisy. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The food was excellent but did not equate to the price. The cocktails were very good and the alcohol versions were very strong.

Sadly we experienced a poor show from the Ivy last night. We arrived for an 8.30pm sitting to be told there had been a problem in the kitchen earlier which had caused some delays. We were directed to the bar to wait for what we hoped may not have been too long. When we saw the number of people waiting in the packed bar area, we felt we were probably not going to be seated any time soon. We were seated just before 9.30 and they kindly took our drinks off the bill. The food when we eventually got it was good and the atmosphere was lively though we were all starving at that point. Hopefully things will be better on our next visit as we have had a number of good meals at The Ivy. As others have mentioned, more attention needs to be given to time slot adherence for later bookings.

I booked a table for my anniversary, but we were left waiting over 20 minutes past our reservation time, standing at the bar with no updates. Frustrated, we eventually decided to leave and dine at another restaurant across the street. Disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion

Our experience at The Ivy was chaotic and disappointing. Despite having a reservation, we waited 45 minutes for a table, and the manager’s curt response made the situation more frustrating. The restaurant seemed overbooked and disorganised, with crowds of people waiting at the bar and no clear system for managing the 2-hour table limits. This lack of planning left us with a rushed dinner, as we had another event to attend. Overall, the service and coordination were severely lacking. I would not recommend dining here unless they significantly improve their operations.
