The newly opened Ivy Royal Windsor is the latest gem in our modern-day brasserie crown. Located close to Windsor Castle, it is the perfect place for locals and the visitors who flock here to see the changing of the guard ceremony, to enjoy delectable dishes and celebratory drinks.

In light of Windsor's rich royal heritage, beautifully designed interiors are brimming with elegant touches. Delicate shades of red and gold feature on sumptuous soft furnishings and in the finish of our sophisticated central bar, while pretty jewel-like colours can also be seen in stunning murals and carefully-curated artworks. The Ivy Royal Windsor's all-encompassing menu lists delicious modern British and international Ivy-inspired classics, as well as show-stopping desserts, new-season cocktails and afternoon teas fit for a queen.

The Ivy chain does what it does to a fabulous standard. The decor in each of their restaurants is a pleasure to behold, the staff are always professional, courteous and some of them have the most beautiful outfits. The menu provides a fair selection so that everyone can find something to eat, the dishes are presented with finesse and are of great quality. The great thing about the Ivy is that it is a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. Each branch I have been to has provided a pleasurable experience and the Windor incarnation is no exception.

Bought a SMALL balloon to the table and discreetly placed behind my elderly father to make a fuss. Was promptly told it was policy to not have balloons, which (excuse the pun) deflated the event & and angered me. Service was amazing and our host couldn’t do enough for us. Normally visit Guildford, & would say Windsor in comparison lacked the edge in terms of food and taste.
