Not quite a dinner place, but we left with full stomachs. Food was very good and appropriately priced, staff was very helpful and accommodating of a pregnant diner's needs. Will almost certainly return when I can have a proper cocktail.

The first appetizer/small plate came out 1 hour after receiving our beverages . I was very surprised to see how slow the service was especially because when we got to the restaurant there was only one other party there. Finally our entrees came out and some of our food was missing which was very frustrating because it was already such a long wait. The waiter wasn’t very pleasant, she was very dismissive, probably because she was the only waiter in the entire restaurant which can be difficult to mange on a Saturday evening.

We showed up to the restaurant to find out it was closed for maintenance. I booked the reservation with a card and didn't even receive a courtesy call to inform us that the restaurant would be closed.

A new experience! Fabulous food with excellent service. Paper napkins detracted from the ambience. A concise menu which the server was knowledgeable in guiding us through. Will definitely return.

We saw this recommended on Open Table with positive reviews. Decided to try it for a date night with husband. We have lived in Ballard for close to 30 years so we like to give local restaurants a try. Had no trouble with parking. 6:15 Friday night reservation. We were seated right away. Took about 10 minutes for the server to come bring us water or menus, even though it was not busy. Our server was friendly and helpful, though. We ordered spicy margaritas which were very good. We ordered our food — edamame, wings, crab cakes, and lime salad. The salad was not my favorite. The wings were very tasty. Crabcakes were lukewarm and edamame was very inconsistent in temperature—some were cold while some were just warm. Ambience was quiet for a Friday night but it was still early. Decor wasn’t my favorite— looked a bit 80’sish DIY. I think they are still working out the kinks so that is why the food wasn’t hot. It was tasty but just not hot enough. Once they get it figured out I think it will be better.

Food , service , ambiance was fine , the parking situation is difficult and patrons should be given a heads up. Parking is available in the huge apartment complexes near The Ivy . Other wise everything was pleasant and we had a fine experience
