Since 2006, The LakeHouse restaurant has been the jewel of Bay Shore, NY. In the summer of 2016, owners Eileen & Matthew Connors and Jay Gut moved locations to a brand new dockside treasure. With stunning views and multiple fireplaces, comfortable seating for 100+ guests, two lounge areas, deck overlooking the Great South Bay, and both an indoor tavern room and a waterfront bar, The Lakehouse is touted by many as “one of the best restaurants on Long Island.” At night, the deck is illuminated, as is the waterfront lounge area where guests can congregate for after-dinner cocktails. This New American fine dining experience is not to be missed. The Lakehouse can now be reached by boat as well, as guest dockage is available at the new gorgeous bayside locale.

As always a delicious perfect restaurant experience. The food is Michelin star worthy with specials and. main stay dishes that are always perfectly seasoned and cooked. The view makes you feel like your on a wonderful vacation. My favorite restaurant on LI. I cannot wait until I can go back!!

Food was soooooo good. Really enjoyed it. I was let down that the sea scallops I ordered were supposed to come with risotto. There wasn’t any risotto on my plate. Piano was very loud.

One of the worst restaurants I've been to. The waitress completely ignored, us constantly. I had to call her attention. Bad service. I think they are very racist towards Latinos. I will never return and I do not recommend it to anyone.

I really enjoyed having lunch at The Lake House after having dinner there several times in past years. The price fix lunch was delicious and plentiful. The service was excellent. No one rushed us at all. The atmosphere outside was wonderful. I’d definitely go back again for lunch or dinner.

The food and service were great, as we enjoyed a nice weekday dinner celebrating our 15th anniversary. We will definitely be back to enjoy the warmer/summer weather during the day to take in the beautiful views.
