Lewinnick Lodge is a clifftop destination - a contemporary restaurant and bar with 17 boutique hotel rooms - which has long been a favourite with locals and those in the know.

Perched atop the cliffs of Pentire headland, with stunning views across the mighty Atlantic, Lewinnick Lodge offers a spectacular dining experience.

The Lodge is open for breakfast from 8am and serves food throughout the day until 10pm.
The ethos is simple: fresh, seasonal produce prepared on the premises, using the very best the Cornish larder has to offer.

Tables can be reserved in the restaurant, or are available on a first come first served, walk in basis in the dog friendly bar area and on the outside terrace.

We’ve been coming to Lewennick for many years. It’s a special place for us & somewhere we stayed after our wedding. We’ve waited 3 years to visit again after covid and were really looking forward to it, it just didn’t feel as welcoming as it used to. We booked well in advance and requested a window table, this hadn’t been arranged. The person serving us (potentially the manger) seemed quite off, not very warm and chatty & left us feeling a little disappointed. After travelling all the way from London, we were sad that this was our first negative experience there in over 10 years. The food was lovely and you’ll never be able to fault those stunning views. Hoping for a warmer welcome next visit!

The service was really poor. No one greeted us when we arrived, we had to ask. We were in direct sun which was unbearably hot. And when we asked to be moved they said 'yeah, everyone finds this table hot' No mint for mojito had to call waitress over to order more drinks. And then when delivered, call them back to take empties. Drinks were slow. We drank 2 drinks each during our 2hr visit! Took our condiments to the wrong table Knocked my chips over as she was putting my plate down Steak was over cooked When we asked waitress to book a taxi for us, she said 'i am not allowed to' For £84 for 1 starter, 2 meal and 2 cocktails... i have had better service at Macdonald's

Spot on once again at The Lewinick Lodge - great food and drink overlooking the ocean and Fistral beach - it really doesn't get much better!

Sunday lunch - amazing meal in terms of both quality and value. Lovely table overlooking the ocean. Only slight negatives were starter order didn’t get to the kitchen before our mains came out, quickly resolved and with an apology from the staff member involved, and my partners wine choice was sold out. Even with these issues I’m giving 5 stars as the meal itself was of such a high quality

We visit every year when in Newquay. Great views from restaurant. Food is good and you can park for free and stop off for a drink.

We arrived at the restaurant in time for our 6.45 pm slot to be told that our table was not ready and would we mind waiting in the bar. We were provided with drinks and a menu which was acceptable. Twenty minutes later we were taken to our table which in fairness had lovely views over the bay. After 10 minutes (and now 30 minutes from arrival) we still had not been approached by any staff to either provide more menus or take our order. Eventually we had to ask a member of staff to take our order. Starters arrived in a timely manner and my soup was very tasty. We then had to wait a long time for our main course which in my case consisted of sweet potato fries that were frozen fries that had been over cooked and a vegetable burger that was at best average. One member of the group had fish and chips and another steak which were both ok. One of the senior staff took 3 of our plates then got distracted did something else and left one plate on the table. We did not have desert as no one came to ask if we would like them and we asked to pay the bill and left. Overall some of the food choices were acceptable but the service spoilt the meal and you could see other people in the restaurant feeling the same as our party.
