   Beautiful atmosphere and gorgeous food. Service was a bit slow but the food far and out made up for it. We had salads, oysters, beef tartare, stewed beef, Lemon Chicken and the Pork Chop. We finished with pot du crème and sticky toffee pudding and coffees. We definitely needed the walk home.

   The food was fantastic, our server, Tanner, was amazing. He was so helpful and funny, and gave us the best seat in the house and great advice on drinks and apps.

   First time visiting, was told to make a reso, but did not need it as there were only a few tables seated. Server was fantastic. Energetic, but aware we were just there for wine and some chatting. Food was very good, good portion sizes, good wine selection.

   We tried out the new fall menu at The Local and it was 10/10 all round. We can’t wait to go back and try the other items we didn’t get to try this time. We loved our oysters and the frito misto to start and then our group feasted on the fresh pasta, tomahawk pork chop and slow cooked beef. The portions were so large we didn’t even have room for dessert (but they sounded delicious). Kiersten was our server and she was professional as well as fun. Great time. Thank you to everyone at The Local. Can’t wait to return!
