Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
The Lodge offers an upscale dining experience with "beautiful" ambiance and "amazing" service. While the menu features standout dishes like sea bass and crab, some items lack flavor. The recent remodel has received praise, with patrons enjoying the "unique" cocktails and "gorgeous" views. Improvements in service timing could enhance the experience further.

We have dined at The Lodge several times. The service and food is always great. We brought friends tonight that were dining for the first time. They enjoyed the sea bass and my wife and I enjoyed the beef short ribs. The Lodge has quickly become our new favorite dining spot!

An excellent dining experience! Our party of four shared the whipped ricotta appetizer and romaine/apple salad. They were enjoyed by all. We ordered the duck, steak, crab and chicken entrees. The favorite was the wagu steak but everyone’s selection was perfectly cooked and served with creative and tasty sides. A special nod to the delicious jalapeño cheddar potatoes that were served with the chicken. The portions were generous enough that we only ordered two desserts to share - a tasty lemon olive oil cake and a peanut butter:chocolate cheesecake. I thought the number of menu selections was more than adequate for this upscale restaurant. The prices were fair for the quality of food and impeccable service provided. I would recommend this beautiful and unique restaurant without hesitation.

The whole experience and “journey” as our server called it, was amazing. Colorado is so casual. And the lodge, it wasn’t pretentious, but it was sure classy. They took the laid back feel of Colorado and took it to an upscale level. Beauty in every aspect of this experience. Care and attention to each detail. Though our server was new to the establishment, she was knowledgeable and took the best care of us.

The atmosphere and service was excellent. Out server was wonderful! I ordered a cocktail that was served out of a bird shaped glass which was cute except I had to drink it out of a paper straw that protruded from the butt of the bird. In theory it was cute but someone is laughing somewhere from making people drink a $17 cocktail from a bird's behind. The tuna tartare was excellent. I had the Waygu steak that was impossible to chew. I literally had to chew it to a consistency I could swallow. My husband had the duck and it was dry. The menu looked and sounded great but for that price we were very disappointed. Maybe it was a bad night?

We had high hopes for our dinner at The Lodge, especially after hearing such nice things about the restaurant. Our reservation was for 6:30 PM, and upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly shown to our table. The evening started off nicely with a lovely Amuse-Sip, a thoughtful touch that we appreciated. However, things quickly took a disappointing turn. After being seated, we waited 15–20 minutes without any interaction from the wait staff. No one came to take our order or even check on us. Looking around, we noticed other tables with guests sitting idle and no food being served. It was clear that service was significantly delayed or disorganized. Ultimately, we decided to leave, as it didn’t seem like things were improving. We were very disappointed, as we were looking forward to dining here based on the positive reviews. While we enjoyed the ambiance and initial greeting, the lack of follow-through left us questioning whether we’ll return. Hopefully, this was an off night, but it was a disappointing first impression.

We ate here about a month ago and it was amazing. Last night was terrible! My dad and I both had the steak, which I had gotten last time and it was absolutely incredible. This time our food came out cold, the steak was very rare and tough, nothing was seasoned and everything was under cooked and our food was COLD. The service took a long time. It was a bad experience all the way around. We had been really excited to find a restaurant in Windsor that we were so happy with, but last night definitely gave us second thoughts. Very disappointing.

The Lodge may be one of the best restaurants in Noco. It opened in August of this year and has an interesting decor of modern lodge. Top notch chef and great cuisine. Flavorful and interesting. Lauren, our server, was spot on with our wonderful drink, entree and dessert recommendations. Love this restaurant and can’t wait to go back to try other dishes.
