   Great little pub with excellent food and drink. The staff are friendly and hard working. At peak times they could probably benefit from an extra pair of hands. For what it offers and the prices charged, this place never fails to impress me. The only criticism is that, at times, it gets just too busy.

   Great night out. Food was tasty and ample portioned. The bar was busy and getting served took a while at one point, but on the whole 5 stars.

   Food amazing as always. Was very busy as expected but no members of staff just said oh give me a minute and we will sort you shortly, just looked at us and yes they was very busy running round, but just in future would be nice to be acknowledged. But overall food brilliant, staff were friendly once you get served.

   My wife and I had a lovely meal for our anniversary.I had a 10oz minted lamb rump, and my wife had the mixed grill, but it was too big for her .would definitely go again

   It's always a good meal here, the only downside sassy on the 2 seater table in the restaurant, and everybody kept catching my chair walking past. Will not put us off returning again.

   Takes a lot to get a wow out of me. The Malt Shovel got one! The portions were humongous, the steak perfectly cooked, and the value for money amazing. I will be back.

    All way a bang on meal the steak is all way the best cuts and the real ale is keep right we no we can walk away with full belly's and a smile on your face so thank u to all the staff see u next time
