   Our meals were all excellent…our service started out good but our server disappeared for 15-w0 minutes..we had to ask another server to bring items she didn’t..when she returned she had an attitude and seemed like she wanted us to finish..somewhat rushed.

   We ate breakfast at The Mark. It took a very long time to get our food after we ordered and the restaurant wasn’t busy - there were four tables of guests including our table. There were two waitresses on duty that morning and one was not very friendly toward us. We watched two people come in to eat. They were brought into the dining area by that server who then told them that she needed to clean off a table for them. She handed them the menus and they stood there holding the menus while the waitress cleaned and set the table. There were other empty tables. Finally, the background noise during our breakfast was the vacuum cleaner as someone vacuumed the lobby. We were disappointed in this visit.

   Our waiter was knowledgeable & attentive. The food was delivered in a timely manner, and tasted delicious. The red velvet cake for dessert was fabulous.

   The service at The Mark was exceptional – the hostesses were welcoming, and Roger provided superb hospitality. However, I felt that the food didn’t quite meet the high standard set by the Inn. The she-crab soup, though beautifully presented, was unfortunately too salty for my taste (and most likely anyone else's). Additionally, the scallops, topped with what seemed to be candied bacon, were overly sweet, giving the dish an unexpected dessert-like quality that overshadowed the main flavors. While I would have considered sending the dishes back, I was quite hungry after a long day and opted to finish them. On a positive note, the crème brûlée for dessert was outstanding, and the cocktails were both delightful and well-balanced. Thank you for a memorable evening, and I look forward to visiting again with hopes for a more balanced meal experience.

   Our party of 4 had different dishes and all were excellent. The service was perfect and the chef met with each diner to ensure all was well. Will definitely return!

   Food was disappointing, the execution of the menu was not at the level you would expect for the price. The servers were very friendly but the kitchen was backed up and the food took over an hour to come out. We had to ask for a bread basket while we waited. Someone should have known to bring that and should have comped us some portion of the meal.

    Our service was excellent. The food was superb and being our 60 other anniversary the restaurant comped us Champaign and tasty piece of cheese cake .
