Bread that comes with appetizers could have been softer but otherwise we loved it!

The food is fresh, well presented and delicious! We have tried many things on the menu and have not found anything that was not excellent. The restaurant is in an old home, so the tables are in various rooms of the home. This makes for a quiet and intimate dining experience. In addition, there is a large patio with heaters for outside dining.

Made reservations for 4 people on open table, when I called to make sure the person who answered the phone told me that there were no reservations made and they were busy and wouldn’t be able to accommodate me. Went to a different restaurant and had a great time! It’s a shame I couldn’t experience the mayors house by selda. Next time I will call to make reservations if they answer the phone.

Authentic Turkish experience in Dallas. Food was good and the staff is very friendly. The house is so cozy and the patio is great when the weather is cooperating!

As always our meal was delicious. However, it was very cold in there and we wore our jackets while there. When we mentioned it to the server she replied she didn’t think it was cold. Sadly, we didn’t feel a temperature adjustment in the two hours we were there.

This was a first time experience. The place is a two story vintage house converted into a Turkish restaurant. They have outside and inside sitting. I opted for inside sitting. The inside sitting is divided by room so it is not your typical restaurant seating. It is a cozy experience. The food was well presented and seasoned. Though what I ordered was good, I could not get an outstanding experience because my plate was more room temperature than my taste buds expected. The other two guests' plates were steaming hot or hot as they should be, but mine seemed to have waited for the other two plates to be done so it got room temperature cold. I ate it anyway since it had good flavor regardless. I let the waitress know after the fact, and to my surprise, she brought a dessert to take home and apologized for the inconvenience. I was not expecting anything, I was just letting them know so they can prevent this small mistake from happening again since it can affect the food experience. Now, the desserts are very good as well. They show you a tray with many desserts and explain to you each of them. Our table chose two different desserts. They were good and unique. So, if you want a place to just eat desserts, this place has you covered. They have small food plates, big food plates and a variety of desserts. Beside the food temperature of my plate, I still will recommend this place. I will surely visit this place again. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
