The Met Dining Room is an elegant and convenient restaurant if you are visiting the museum. The prices are high and the food portions are not large. Lunch is ~$100 for two people without wine or dessert.

We were underwhelmed at the Met Dining room experience. Our food had a long delay and the waitress never acknowledged this. She did not seem to care about her job or service. The food options are very healthful and the squash soup was decadent. We found it VERY interesting that there was not one picture on any of the Met restaurant.
