This is an ambient French style brasserie with a contemporary menu. If you look for Michelin star quality however, you will be deeply disappointed. There is very little finesse or creativity in the dishes. The products are fresh, but not a single time was I surprised or was there an x-factor in the taste. Because of the shift system, everything was rushed to get the table ready in time for the next guests, meanwhile waiting outside in the cold. In comparison to the many Michelin starred restaurants that I have visited across the world, this must have been the most mediocre one, and definitely not worth a star. Shame on Michelin. Obviously, with the above experience, the check came as a shock, moreover because a 12,5% ‘discretionary service fee’ was added, which was not mentioned on the menu, but I probably overlooked the very small print.

Generally really good place that I would recommend. Failed on 5 stars because: .... a boisterous table of 10 made conversation difficult. Not the fault of the restaurant, but maybe fit plain acoustic panels to the ceiling. They would be invisible and help the ambiance. ....recognising that it is a small restaurant, our table for two felt like a bit of a squeeze-in afterthought. .....and the fancy description of what were essentially [expensive] ordinary croquette potatoes with a dipping sauce let down what was otherwise a very good lunch. Stick to chips if necessary.

Absolutely loved all the food. Had a double date with one being a veggie and they facilitated with the chefs menu. Really lovely staff. Great for an occasion, lots of birthdays were being had.

Atmospheric place with beautiful ambience and relaxing vibe. Service was friendly and energetic. I ordered tagliatelle beef ragu, which was delicious. However, hake with cannelini bean pure was very salty and I didn’t enjoy it at all. Two of my friends also said that it was far too salty and they usually like more salt in food. Regardless, we had a lovely time. Our Italian waiter was fantastic.

Very nice food, terrific and warm service but way too expensive (even for Charlotte St!). Spent less in Mayfair in smarter places. At more sensible pricing could be outstanding

STAFF Genuinely happy, pleasant and welcoming team here. Our waiter was a charmer and so hard working - he never stopped all evening ensuring all the guests were looked after. Chef even took time to say hello towards the end of the evening, he's created a wonderful experience! ATMOSPHERE Very welcoming with a rustic neighbourhood feeling, not trying to impress just feel cosy. CUISINE We opted for taster with wine (always our goto) and were very impressed. Wonderful fusion of the both chefs background from Japan and Italy peeking into each dish. Spot on with texture, temperature and taste also. Enjoyed the sharing/family style plating. Wine's also creative and well presented/explained by our charming waiter.

Pleasant small restaurant. We went for the set 3 course lunch menu - the food was okay, but the temperature of the food was not hot. The starter of tagliatelle was a little school dinner with bland flavour that consisted of separate elements rather than a cohesive dish. The fish in the main course was a little overcooked and was therefor dry. The added broccoli side was, however, delicious. The only course with any 'wow' taste was the dessert course which was a crispy topped rice pudding - delicate seasonal flavours that redeemed the rest.
