   Loved our experience here. We went for al-a-carte as opposed to tasting but I would love to go back for the tasting menu next time as tables beside us looked fantastic as well. The food was amazing - every sauce, spice, combination and texture were very well put together. The walnut and mushroom ketchup with tempura mushrooms and the scallops were highlights. Service was also great, accommodated us slightly earlier and gave us a little birthday treat at the end which was a lovely touch. Really nice vibe overall, very much in keeping with the Charlotte st vibe and a standout amongst the quality of its neighbours.

   The 3 course set lunch was great value and the food was very good as expected. However, I was disappointed that a £1 “voluntary” donation to support local causes that had been suggested on a card with the bill was already listed on the bill. This puts the onus on the diner to reject the donation rather than opt in. I would imagine most diners would actually miss this and pay without knowing. The amount is not the issue but it just seems a little mischievous.

   I took two clients for lunch at The Ninth. We had the 9 year anniversary menu, which was a cornicopia of fresh and exciting flavours. Service was slick and friendly. Every table was taken; it had a wonderful warm atmosphere on a cold day. Santé du chef.

   We come already 7 years in the ninth it is always top! It is a pitty that they charge charity, in Belgium we do 10% ormore every month of our paycheck on charity!! I have to work and pay for everything!!!

   The chefs tasting menu was amazing. The food was delicious and left us feeling content and so satisfied. The staff were great and overall we had an amazing night. Hope to be back next trip to London.

   Absolutely wonderful food. Beautiful restaurant and the staff were extremely attentive. It was my partner's birthday and the staff brought out a cake and a candle and everyone sang happy birthday to her which was a brilliant end to a fantastic evening.

   Saturday lunch - two 70 year olds eating celebratory meal with 37 year old daughter. Food was brilliant (off 2/3 course lunch menu) - really tasty, not over filling, different. Cocktails and food linked wine choice was excellent. Staff very friendly. Would go back in a heart beat.

   first visit to Ninth and will be back. The food was very well presented and tasty. Service was good, but felt very little engagement with supporting on menu choice etc and relatively slow service. But overall a very pleasant team and enjoyable experience.

   Had an incredible lunch at The Ninth. Great atmosphere and service (thanks Francesca for looking after us so well!) but the standout was the reason we came: the food. Every dish was a winner but the braised beef and pain perdu deserve a special mention. Incredible value for money and my mum couldn’t stop raving about the experience for the rest of the day. With the amount of restaurants to choose from in London it’s sometimes hard to make a choice so when you find a place you really like, you become a regular. And I can’t wait to come back again! 5 stars across the board!

    First of all our table was not ready in time. We asked for drinks and starters. Got the starters before the drinks. Asked for another sourdough and butter before the main. But we had the main and never had the sourdough. The wait was so long. That’s a shame because the food was good but we were very disappointed by this place.
