    Beautiful restaurant and lovely food but it was a 40th birthday celebration and we were not allowed to eat the birthday cake we brought with us! Apparently it’s not allowed and if I was made aware of this when booking we would not have organised the cake! I found this very unusual practice and we were disappointed that we were only informed when we arrived at the restaurant!

    Very happy with the service from all the staff. Who very very friendly and attentive. We were very impressed that even though venison was on the menu as a special we were advised that the chef wasn't happy with it because it was too tough and wouldn't serve it. That says alot about their pride in attention to detail.

    We Truly enjoyed our 3 course meal , Our steak and venison were cooked to perfection . we would highly recommend The Old Stonehouse restaurant Roscommon for the food and atmosphere . 5 stars

    The food was outstanding!!! Portion sizes were perfect and left us feeling full!! Every staff member that came to the table was so helpful and friendly, including front of house! From the moment we stepped in the front door we felt so welcomed and invited in. A big shout out to the chiefs for an amazing meal and the bar staff, particularly alannah who was so attentive and made incredible cocktails each time and explained everything so well!! 10/10 experience! We cannot fault it!!!
