Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
The Park Pour offers a delightful dining experience with "amazing food" and "wonderful staff." Standout dishes include the "world best" carrot cake, gnocchi, and creative menu options. While some find the portions small, the charming ambiance, "great wine selection," and attentive service make it a hidden gem worth visiting.

Food was delicious as usual but took nearly 45 minutes from time we arrived until time our food arrived. Restaurant was not busy. We have been here several times and never waited that long so maybe just a bad day.

We’ve been here several times and it was delightful. Unfortunately, this visit wasn’t as nice. We waited 25 minutes before someone took out order. We were enjoying coffee and conversation, but the wait was a bit long. Food arrived quickly. The noise level was deafening and my companion and I could barely hear each other! We will return and hope for a better experience!

Service is slow and inattentive. They messed up an item on my order - which isn’t a big deal - but it took 20 minutes to replace it. It was toast. And they didn’t comp me for the mistake.

First time trying this place, my wife and I gave it a chance for my 50th Birthday. The ambiance is very quaint and personable. A little upscale, yet not overly casual and snooty. The service was professional yet neighborhood-joint friendly…by the sights and sounds, I could definitely tell we were surrounded by many patrons who had been there plenty times before. That said, everywhere I go I order scallops because of how delicate and particular they are to prepare properly. To me, how well a restaurant handles its scallops is a great representation of how the chef manages the kitchen in general. The scallops were prepared perfectly, the level of doneness was pretty spot-on, but…they were loaded with sand. Some sand is totally normal and acceptable….these scallops were so heavy in sand that each bite felt like I was eating an omelette full of broken eggshells. It truly ruined the experience and I stopped eating them after giving two of them a try. I took small bites of the remaining three just to check them out, and they were loaded with sand as well. My best guess as a foodie, amateur chef and frequent restaurant-goer is that the scallops weren’t rinsed either properly or long enough. Very disappointing. My wife ordered a brie/prosciutto sandwich with the baguette bread, and the bread was borderline burnt and hard as a rock. But it all took so long to come out that we didn’t have time to send anything back. The flavor was good, the finishing of it was way off. The deviled egg appetizer was a nice touch. Well prepared, well presented and excellent texture and flavors. The carrot cake dessert was otherworldly good, possibly the best carrot cake I’ve ever had but definitely on the small side. But, the thickness and flavor of the cream cheese icing more than made up for it. Overall, we’ll go back because we always give a place a try twice to be as fair and balanced as possible.

I was very excited about meeting a colleague for breakfast at park pour. We needed to have an early start and they opened early enough. But what was not apparent was that the brunch menu was not available until nine 🫤 so options were a little bit more limited. Other than that, it was a nice experience.
