   We were seated in a pretty bad corner of the restaurant, even though it was a 65th birthday. It was where all the best boys were we replacing or accessing table settings. It felt very much like we were near the bathrooms and the elevator and the shelving for all the table glasses.

   Beautiful expierence from being greeted to a thoughtful dessert! I loved dining here. The live music was soft and added to the comfort of the ambiance. Steven, our server, was elegant, gracious, and thoughtful with his recommendations. We ended up having bone marrow, shrimp, and Tomahawk steak, along with a lovely personalized dessert. Our wine amplified the food, well-paired. Never did we feel rushed or unattended. I only have 2 small critiques. First, one of the slices of grilled bread with the bone marrow was not grilled or warm. Second, the potatoes were very loose and closer to a puree - the taste was fine, but I would not order them again. Other than that, the food was fabulous and the rub on the steak was deliciously memorable.

   Upon entering, we were directed to take the elevator to the Penthouse to be seated for dinner. The restaurant is very impressive & formal. Absolutely beautiful! We were seated at a nice cozy table by the piano bar. The entertainment was fantastic! Beautiful young lady with a voice like Ariana Grande sang & played piano. Her repertoire consisted of popular songs & some songs from current musicals. She's very talented!! Worth going there just for her performance! I had their house Berry cocktail & it was really tasty & sweet, came in a shaker & was literally 4 drinks in a martini glass for the price of one! Well worth the price. Lots of great choices on the menu. The food & service was impeccable. We had a wonderful evening. Highly recommend!!

   We have visited Mastro’s in Newport and Costa Mesa but first time at the Penthouse BH location! Food quality was great as expected but our service was exceptional! From our hostess Willow, to the manager Karina, and the service team, especially Gary was fantastic!
