First impressions; cosy, great atmosphere and a great buzz. We were then taken upstairs and sat in the back section, the complete opposite of downstairs, kind of an overspill area. It was so COLD 🥶we contemplated eating in our jackets and would probably have stayed longer and enjoyed it more if we had been comfortable. The food is fantastic and the service very polite and professional. Check out the menu before you go if it’s your first time, there’s so much choice we ended up picking things we knew rather than trying new plates. It’s a little pricey for tapas but they are very authentic and taste amazing.

Couldn’t fault the service and the wine selection was very good. Tarta de Santiago was excellent. Portion size was small, especially the pan con tomate.

We loved our meal at The Port House. The waiter that dealt with us most was very personable. We arrived late, but they were very accommodating to us and just reminded us that the table had to be free by 9pm (Booked for 7pm). Even when it got to 9pm we were still sitting down and didn't feel rushed by any member of staff. The food was delicious. We both got four plates and enjoyed them all. We also got a craft of Sangria which was lovely. I would definitely recommend going here with friends, family or even as a couple.

The food was good service a bit strange The original position of the table was near the entrance so I asked to be moved and they sit us near the window where there was a bad draft and I had to put my jacket on!! They had more table downstairs but they said couldn’t move us again??!!!

Always love coming here it’s a favourite for me and my boyfriend. The food was delicious comes out how we expect. Definitely got a bit more expensive as we continue to go but that’s just inflation. On average we’d order 8 tapas to share with a glass of wine which is plenty of food for us

The vibe of the restaurant is amazing, the food is incredible, and last night, we ordered a fabulous Spanish wine. I've chosen this restaurant because I know it and it was a great place to meet some friends after a long time of not seeing each other.

Food was brilliant. Ambience needs work. It was Christmas and there were no lights upstairs where we were and not even a candle on the table. These were minor faults though as the meal and service were excellent and we would have no problem recommending the restaurant to other people. Thanks for a great meal!
