    Great food. One of my favorite restaurants in the Tiverton area. Fried oysters and steak frites were fabulous. Service was unusually rushed on the Friday night I went. I would have liked a bit more time from start to finish. My only complaint and not the norm for this establishment. I recommend this restaurant regularly

    The Red Dory is one of our favorite restaurants!! The food and service are consistently excellent. The menu, although limited, has something for everyone. Some of our favorites are the smoked haddock and clam chowder; steak frites; grilled Spanish octopus with chickpeas; and pan roasted cod with littlenecks white beans and sausage. They also have a great cocktail and wine selection. The Red Dory is truly one of the best restaurants in the East Bay.

    Food is always good, we did feel a bit rushed, our waiter had to come back a few times u til we were ready to order. To be fair to him, 2 of our party was quite late but it wasn’t that crowded in thr restaurant. Food is always good, it’s quite noisy however.

    As usual The Red Dory was an excellent choice for dinner. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server. The menu isn’t extensive and that’s a good thing. There are a number of excellent signature cocktails along with an extensive wine list. We had Steak Frites and the Cod dish which came out nice and hot and delicious. The Red Dory is a gem in the Little Compton/Tiverton area. Typically it’s hard to get a reservation but we went on a Sunday night and there were plenty of tables available. There’s also lots of seats at the bar. We’ll be back soon.
