   We have been to the Rock several times on our visits to North Devon. Quality of the food is always excellent, the welcome and service always friendly.

   Great roast dinner and the blackberry and vanilla crème brûlée and the blackberry and apple crumble were both amazing. Definitely would recommend. We visited on Mother’s Day but the food was brought out speedily and piping hot.

   We had a lovely evening. Great food and great service. Good range of options on menu and we had a delicious meal. Really friendly and relaxed atmosphere

   As good as ever. We last visited the Rock over a year ago and were very impressed and our latest visit was just as good. Great food, friendly staff (and locals), a feel-good ambiance and reasonable prices all combine to make this pub an excellent place for a night out. Recommended without hesitation.

   Really friendly and competent service. Very well cooked pub food but also a really good special (skate wing with caper butter). Huge portions, maybe a bit expensive but possibly you could even share a main.

   Delicious food and lovely staff made this a real treat during our stay in Croyde. Very accommodating to our 2 large dogs. Happy to recommend and hopefully we'll be returning very soon.

   Just the best, every damn time! Ribs hit the spot, fast and welcoming service. Log fire burning. What more could you ask for.

    Lovely village pub, great ambience, lots of wonky beamed ceiling and floorboards. The staff were very welcoming and on the ball. My husband chose a burger because he'd read a review which said it was the best gluten free burger they'd eaten and he agreed. My bouillabaise was delicious and it was too much for me to finish, very satisfying!
