   Best carvery we have had in awhile. Affordable price too unlike most places now. Our 8 year old cleared his plate and then his Belgian waffles which he loved. We will be coming again.

   Had a lovely Sunday carvery meal. Extremely tasty with the best pub roast potatoes that I've ever had in a pub.

   Sunday carvery roast. Choice of beef, turkey or pork. Plenty of vege choices, yorkshire, cauliflower cheese, carrot and swede mash, red cabbage, green cabbage. Very good value at £10.95 for large plate and £6.95 for small. Drinks not so. £3 for a glass of coke. My only negative was the tables are quite squashed together and there was a noisy family at the next table. I would eat here again.

   Ver good with allergen advice and made me a separate gravy. Roast potatoes were the best we ever had . Can’t wait to go back .

   Been several times. Nice Sunday carvery, choice of 3x Meats, beef was cooked to perfection (a little red in the middle ) Usual run of the mill vegetables, you can't go wrong on that score. One tip, book early, on one occasion a few weeks before, they we're running out of meat. Apart from that nice food.

   Thoroughly enjoyed our evening there, a very friendly and relaxing atmosphere in a very nice pub/ restaurant.. Although I didn't receive the meal I asked for it simply wasn't a problem as the steak was just beautiful and my partner who had the same thought exactly the same ..you reduced the bill by 15% which was very kind but there really was no need too .. Your staff were very helpful and understanding and so friendly..we will visit again real soon 👍

   Service was amazing. Nothing was too much bother. We had one person who was a vegetarian and one who wanted gluten free . They couldn’t be more helpful and felt at ease. Lovely food, lovely service, lovely restaurant.

    Lovely old pub with very good food. Staff are very friendly. Sunday roasts are great with the best roast potatoes ever. The meat is always good with 3 choices each week and a variety of vegetables. Great value and a small size available which is ample for smaller appetites. The standard size is a real man sized plate and all food is priced at good value prices. It's now our local pub and my hubby and I love it. From the word go we were made to feel welcome. Dogs are always welcome in bar area where there are tables for having meals but the restaurant area dogs are not allowed. The pub itself has two gorgeous friendly huskies. Always best to book food as its a popular pub but booking online is simple.
