   It’s a nice little hidden gem. The food was prepared perfectly. The filet mignon was delicious. I will definitely be returning.

   Oh where to begin… our surf and turf plus wine was simply incredible! Darby even knew what we had ordered before (wine and food). She was awesome and our friends who joined us for dinner before the ZZ Top concert were very happy with the food and wine and service. My wife Denise and I absolutely love The Royal Scam and the entire staff is wonderful! Y’all are our one of our favorite downtown restaurants! Thank you for the great hospitality and experience!

   The Royal Scam is one restaurant you will want to visit on your trip in Mobile, Alabama. They make your table top experience one to remember. While dining, guests can enjoy the Mardi Gras parade rolling down the street, as well as catered cocktails perfect for any occasion. I love my experience at The Royal Scam, and you will too.

   Service was great and we loved the intimate atmosphere. Tuna tartare and crab cakes were good and the cheesecake was delicious. The black garlic mashed potatoes were a bit runny and overwhelmed the vegetables. Lamb and fish were well cooked but again the potatoes kinda made the presentation a bit icky looking. Will def go again to try on a night where the menu is not set;)

   This is our third visit to The Royal Scam. As always, the food was exceptional! Our server Darby was simply wonderful. Attentive, caring, and a joy to chat with. Thank you for a lovely early Valentine’s experience!

   An exceptionally good restaurant in historic downtown Mobile, Alabama. It’s part of our regular rotation of restaurants in this area. I highly recommend this place ✨
